I read this poem in German today, followed by another poem in Spanish. My German isn't bad and it well well. The Spanish, however ... well, I'm still saying sorry for it.
We took up homework on "Mother to Son" after reading "Monsuer Joliat" in class. We read a few other poems, too. Light and fun ones, as well as dark and serious. "The school boy" by William Blake, "Memory from Childhood" by Antio Machado were both read.
For homework, we will do "Pterodactyls" by Marjorie Sallee.
We also signed up for the day we are going to do our Task 3 PoeT presentations.
