Well, let me back this up - we talked about the exam dates at the end of this month first.
I did remind students to go and ask their other teachers if they had an exam during the exam period in their other classes. Normally, it's at this point in time where I joke around and start and exam review for my students and watch them panic.
As I have said, there is no exam for this course. I do have the CA's/Final Assessments completely marked for this course and they are worth 30% of the final mark. There is no exam for this course.
I just like watching my students panic a little bit, as a smidgen of a joke.
We did do poetry today. We read this poem first and then a few by Dennis Lee. I did show my students where to get poems to read for this unit, too. Lots of places online to find poetry. I'll just remind students to keep any selections appropriate for where we are.
We got "Dignity of Labour" and "On Samsonite assembly line 72" for homework for tomorrow.
